Installing a solar panel

Going Solar

The sixty solar panels being installed on our south-facing roof will help the library enormously as we work to reduce our carbon footprint.

  • Our Approved Solar Proposal

At just over $83,000, our system is projected to pay for itself in just over four years. Because of the grant funding and incentives we were able to secure, the Library’s 32.4kW solar array will produce 103% of our annual energy consumption. Switching from fossil fuels to this renewable energy source will considerably reduce our carbon emissions.
