Friends of the Library

The Friends of Trempealeau Library is an association of people who come together to plan and carry out, in conjunction with library goals and the needs of the library director, programs, and events to benefit the library. The Friends of Trempealeau Public Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation.

What Friends of the Library Does

Who We Are

The Friends group is a public relations unit and acts as ambassadors to encourage a positive relationship between the community and the library. The Friends group is involved in promoting awareness of the library and in fund-raising to support library needs.

When We Meet

The second Monday of the month, 5:00pm, at the Library.

Our Sponsored Special Events

SLP Block Party & other SLP programming, Annual Book Sale, Catfish Days Medallion Hunt, & Taste of Trempealeau event; sampling of Trempealeau favorites including wine, coffee & tea, unique cheeses, and other goodies.

Used Book Sales, including an on-going sale from the carts in library foyer.

How to Become a Friend

Your interest and willingness to support are the only requirements; there are no dues!

  • Attend a meeting
  • Volunteer to help at any of the Friends special events
  • Ask to be included on the Friends’ email or mail listing
